Privacy policy

1. Scope and controller

This notice explains how data is handled on BORNLI at bornli.com, including its Russian and English pages, enquiry form and interactive demos.

The data controller is Mariya Nikolaevna Yakovleva, an individual operating under the Russian professional income tax regime; taxpayer identification number (INN) 773383647818. BORNLI is the brand under which the services are presented.

2. Data we handle

• Enquiries: your name, the reply contact you provide — email address, phone number or messenger username — and an optional description of your project.
• Consent record: your affirmative consent, the consent text version and URL, submission time according to your browser, and the page address without query parameters.
• Correspondence: information you share while discussing your project and the team's replies.
• Technical information: IP address, request time and address, browser and device details, connection status and errors. Site infrastructure may process these to deliver pages and prevent abuse.
• Interactive demos: the file, photograph or text you select, limited to the action you initiate, as explained below.

We do not ask for government ID documents, payment card details, medical information or biometric data. Please do not include them in enquiries or demo files. The demos do not process real payments.

3. Purposes and grounds

• Handle your enquiry, reply, discuss the brief and prepare a prototype or proposal, based on your separate consent to enquiry processing.
• Take steps towards a contract at your request and perform an agreed contract, limited to what that requires.
• Operate and secure the site, resolve errors and protect the form against spam, subject to applicable law and the relevant legal grounds.
• Perform the demo action you request, limited to that action; a separate notice is shown before personal material is processed on a server.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing or authorize publication of your information. Enquiry data is not sold. Marketing communications require a separate basis and, where necessary, separate consent.

4. How an enquiry is handled

After you complete the form, select its separate consent checkbox and submit, your browser sends the enquiry over HTTPS to a handler in Yandex Cloud. The submission contains the enquiry fields and consent details listed above.

The controller and authorized team members use it to respond and work on your project. Processing can include collection, recording, organization, storage, correction, use, necessary access, restriction, deletion and destruction, by automated means and with human involvement.

Typing alone does not submit the form. If the server does not confirm delivery, the site displays an error and keeps your text in the open form so that you can try again.

5. Services and recipients

• Vercel provides hosting, content delivery and server functions. It processes technical request information when you access the site.
• Yandex Cloud receives enquiries submitted through the form.
• Content and component providers: some demos may load fonts, images and libraries from Google Fonts, Apple, CloudFront and unpkg. These requests disclose technical connection details to the relevant server.
• Telegram, WhatsApp and email providers handle correspondence when you use those contact channels. Their own privacy notices also apply.
• The AI demo processing service may receive material you separately submit in connected mode. Merely viewing a list of supported models does not send your enquiry to those models.

Access is limited to the processing task. Information may be disclosed to authorities when there is a legal requirement or other applicable legal basis.

6. Files, voice and AI demos

Ready-made examples use sample data. CSV and TSV calculations run in your browser; their contents are not sent to a server for those calculations. Selected files and demo results remain in the open page's memory and are cleared when it reloads.

If connected AI mode is available, submitting your own photograph, phrase or another supported document requires a separate confirmation. The material is sent to BORNLI's processing service and its connected model provider — OpenAI in the current configuration — to produce a response. Your development enquiry is not added to that request. Temporary queued requests and results are removed during routine cleanup after their processing period; this is not a promise of immediate deletion from provider systems or logs.

The microphone is activated only through your action and browser permission. Speech recognition and synthesis may use a browser provider's service, including remote processing. Text input is available without a microphone.

Do not upload confidential documents, other people's data without an appropriate basis, or sensitive personal information. The demo is not used to make decisions about people with legal or similarly significant effects.

7. International processing

The site uses Vercel's international infrastructure and external services. Technical information and information you send to a selected service may be processed outside your country, including in the United States.

The form handler is hosted in Yandex Cloud. Applicable localization, transfer-basis and notification requirements depend on the actual processing arrangement and applicable law. This notice and the enquiry checkbox do not replace separate grounds or procedures where those are required for a particular transfer.

8. Retention and deletion

Enquiry data and related correspondence are processed until the purpose is fulfilled, but for no longer than one year after the last interaction, or until you withdraw consent, unless another lawful basis permits continued processing. If we enter into a contract, retention periods necessary for that contract and legally required records apply.

When the basis ends, data is deleted or anonymized within the applicable legal period. Information needed to meet legal obligations or protect rights may be kept separately, limited to that purpose. Technical log and backup retention depends on the relevant service and its settings.

9. Your choices and rights

You can request information about processing, access or a copy, correction, restriction, deletion and withdrawal of consent. Where applicable law provides for them, you can also object to processing and request data portability. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing performed before it.

We respond within the period set by applicable law. Requests governed by Russian data protection law are generally handled within 10 business days, with a reasoned extension where legally permitted. You may also contact the competent data protection authority.

10. Cookies and security

The current landing page does not include Yandex Metrica or advertising pixels. It does not set its own advertising or analytics cookies. Infrastructure and external services may process technical information necessary for content delivery and security under their own policies.

Measures include HTTPS, restricted access to service components, input validation and spam protection. No transmission or storage method offers absolute security; incidents are handled as required by applicable law.

11. Updates

The current notice is published on this page with its revision date above. A material change in processing purposes or data categories requires an updated notice and, where necessary, renewed consent. The Russian and English notices describe the same site and controller.
